Change or Die?

This article is fascinating. Much of what is said rings true, as a country we definitely should be performing better and it reflects my views of yesterday that Sunak's speech lacked ambition. The fact that somebody as well respected as Danny Finkelstein can be as pessimistic as this - and he is far from alone in holding this view - is more than enough reason for us as a country to start doing some naval gazing about how we are managed.
