We should not forget that behind all the shenanigans at Westminster (I may have been wrong yesterday, Rishi might actually do the sensible thing today and sack her) is a desperate situation in Gaza, where every innocent person, whatever side of the Gaza/Israeli border you live, is a loser.
If I was Rishi Sunak, I would be making noises about how the UN could and should be playing a much improved leadership role in preventing war, and becoming a global manager of migration - preventing migration crises by working more upstream, instead of simply managing after the event and I would be having conversations with the rest of the world about renewing the UN charter so the organisation is far more capable.
If, like me, you think the UN should be better, remember that it is the UN's member states that can make the change.
